This nomination was submitted by a colleague: We had a patient come in to the ED who had to be transferred emergently to another facility. He had his elderly mother with him who had dementia and who could not drive. The ambulance service could not transport the mother in the ambulance with the patient. The patient was unable to arrange transportation for his mother. Zach drove the patient's mother to the receiving hospital and escorted her to the correct room.
