He is constantly thinking of other things he can do for his team, but also patients!
Zac goes above and beyond for every team player, even when they say no! He is constantly thinking of other things he can do for his team, but also patients! He recycles the soda cans with his kids and brings in education for the new grads and continued education for the RNs on the floor.

Zachary answers every question and teaches all nurses and patients. Nurses feel like they can talk to him, and he doesn’t laugh in their face or minimize their concerns. He works hard to drive teamwork. He is usually the first to get there when anyone needs help. He also does audits to determine areas of needed improvement. He makes himself available in person and by phone anytime and even created and Facebook page for the team. Which he manages even when not working. That is dedication. He encourages staff to be their best.
When we were short on bedside tables, he worked through the complicated systems to get us more. When our computers gravitated to other floors, he rounded them up. Didn’t make us feel stupid for needing carts, just found some. He keeps the floor in the budget by adjusting staffing with the flow of patients to meet needs.
