Simply Stated: This is how an ED should be! – after an experience at another regional ED 36 hours prior at which the diagnosis was missed and the perception of service left a lot to be desired. Zach kept checking on the patient and the family and advising them on the workup process and timelines. Zach did a great job with this patient and family members. He informed me initially and comprehensively about this patient’s presentation and kept giving me ongoing updates. The team approach to patient care is the way to go!
