Zachary Lewis, RN

My grandson came in presenting signs of the flu. He ended up needing critical care, and Zachary remained calm and courteous while my grandson seized for an extended period. He kept us informed the whole way and has been an excellent caregiver for my grandson for the first 2 nights we were in the ED. Zachary went above and beyond to get him a more comfortable bed to lie in because he is handicapped and wheelchair bound and does not have the use of any muscles to move his body on his own while he’s in the bed. To help him remain comfortable, Zachary went and got him a bed so that he could recline his legs. I believe Zachary went above and beyond his duty as a nurse by keeping us updated with test results and asking us what do we suggest as the patient and parent.
