Zach was my contact nurse on the morning I was admitted. He showed such compassion and empathy. He made me feel like my emotions were valid and that what I had to say was important. He helped me when I was really struggling with SI & SH urges. He went out of his way to provide helpful distractions and coping skills. He's super easy to talk to and I always felt better after our conversation. I will say that he is my favorite nurse on 9W. You can truly see how much he cares. He encouraged patient education which helped me learn about my diagnosis.
