I am in awe of Zack. I arrived Sunday morning as I have for many days to sit with my daddy. I was greeted cheerfully by Zack, who introduced himself and immediately proceeded to deliver as many positives and truths that he could under the circumstances. He then said that he would be giving the best care to my dad today. As he started his care I was touched by his humanity to my dad and the extra special attention to detail of all his needs. When he began to suction and clean my dad, tears flowed for his intense compassion, using his name, and telling him every step he was taking. He went out of his way to clean him up just as my dad would have liked. He cleaned his face, lips, and forehead and the details were not unnoticed. He never stopped throughout his shift making sure that my dad and I had everything that we needed and he made special trips to check on us and offer touch and verbal kindness unmatched. There are not enough ways to thank him for the care and compassion he showed to my dad, brother, and myself. He is extraordinary!
