Zerina was my son's nurse when we came in for a routine dental procedure. We ended up being in the room much longer than anticipated as his procedure was delayed. She was so patient, kind, and understanding while we tried to distract him from his hunger and thirst and while we tried to expend his energy (did I mention he has severe ADHD?). I felt like my son was interacting with an aunt by the way she put him at ease.

When we came back from recovery, I saw what a true rockstar she was. Out of nowhere, my son had an 'episode' that was terrifying for his father and I. Zerina was calm and collected and quickly alerted other staff so my son could be tended to immediately. It is so tough to watch your child go through something and feel helpless but Zerina quickly put our fears at ease. Her patience, compassion, kindness, and ability to ease my son's anxiety were amazing. It takes an incredibly special person to work in any pediatric setting and Zerina is definitely where she belongs. We are so grateful and thankful to her for everything. I will be leaving today feeling like we have gained a new family member. Thank you, Zerina!
