I'm a patient in the respiratory unit at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital and I would like to nominate a nurse for the DAISY Award, yet I have no idea who she is.
On the morning of April, I was on my way to SRRSH for medical treatment. As I walked through the subway tunnel near the hospital, I suddenly passed out, totally unconscious. I'm told that a nurse from SRRSH happened to pass by and with no hesitation, she came to help me. With the alert care she provided, I regained consciousness but was still too weak to stand up. She told me to wait for her there and later she showed up with a wheelchair from the hospital. She helped wheel me to the hospital. I kept asking her name and promised to thank her later. She just responded with a smile and saying, "I'm a nurse. This is what I should do." I was touched by her and hope your respected hospital leadership can help me learn the identity of this Angel. I would like to say "Thank You" to her.
Now, I have been notified that the nurse who helped me the other day was Zhu Chun, from VIP Care Unit. I want to thank all the nurses at SRRSH for providing the care I needed, especially Zhu Chun. She helped me when I was in need and saved my life without telling me her name.
I couldn't thank her enough. Please give her the great honor of DAISY Nurse!
