I was in and out the hospital with a placental abruption. I ended up delivering my baby boy at 22 weeks. He survived for about an hour, then passed on. As you can imagine, this is any mother's worst dream. Well, the entire time I went through this event, sweet Zoe was there. She made sure that my husband and I were comfortable. She got us everything we needed. Not only that, but she treated my sweet baby with so much love and respect. She spoke to him as if he could understand. She went above and beyond to ensure I had every little picture and keepsake to remember him. Zoe's character was impeccable. She was sweet, caring, and loving. Without Zoe, I feel as if my process would have been an even more upsetting experience. She made a horrific situation bearable because she made sure my husband and I were taken care of at every second. She treated my baby as a human even after he had passed on. I will forever be grateful that Zoe was my nurse.
