October 2018 Honoree
zoe reker, BSN, RN
One of the nights that I was at the hospital, I was very upset and was not feeling too great. Zoe was my nurse and she came in and saw me. She sat there listening to me and comforting me for at least an hour. It was clear she really cared and would do anything she could to help. Every time she was my nurse after that, she would come in not only just to check on me and make sure I was OK, but just to chat. We even talked about Europe and traveling for a while! I felt like I could talk to her about anything and she really made every day in the hospital so much brighter and better.
Thank you, Zoe, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
