Zoila is a super star. She is the perfect example of a team player. During one of our shifts, I was the triage nurse and we were extremely busy. Zoila had 4 room/patients at the time. Although we were running around like headless chickens, Zoila took the time to make sure everyone was ok and was always there to help. Zoila was helping with direct to rooming patients , cleaning rooms, answering phone calls, even getting patients and their families food and drinks from another unit. She had a smile on her face the entire day, and has a very uplifting personality. Zoila is totally deserving of the DAISY Award as she is one of the backbones in of the Peds ED.
