Jolanta has that stand-out quality - a natural ability to heal her patients and those she works with. She compliments her patients and makes them feel good inside. She finds something positive and complimentary to say to them and they love that attention. I hear encouraging and empathetic words in her conversations with patients - very sincere, very genuine. Jolanta keeps her patients safe and takes care of them with the utmost of respect, reverence, and poise. She is a wonderful example of balancing the art and skill of nursing.
A lymphoma patient came to visit the unit one day dressed in a suit. Jolanta told him she didn't recognize him because he looked so good. She said "Look at you! You look so well I thought you were the CEO coming down the hall." I can still see the image of this man's big, beaming smile after she said that and then his proud walk going down the hallway as he left the unit.
Her energy is a "standard" for all of us! What we appreciate the most is her delightful, pleasant and positive energy.
Jolanta is everyone's favorite person to work with. She always has a willing attitude to help. She brings perspective and charms our hearts with her sense of humor. She renews and uplifts our spirits.
