Kristine is very understanding, caring and compassionate. Above all she is the sweetest nurse that I have ever met.
...
Kristine started an IV, drew blood, and medicated a patient for me without having to be asked for her help with my team. This nurse is a great team player and takes initiative to help her co-workers. She always puts the patients first and is an asset to Mother Frances.
..
My grandfather and his wife were at a gas station with Kristine. My grandfather started having
problems and Kristine came and pulled him out of the car and performed CPR on him until the paramedics arrived. They brought him to the Emergency Room at Trinity Mother Frances where they found out he had a DNR order and he was pronounced dead. While the family gathered into the room, Kristine came in and hugged his wife and wanted to offer her condolences. I know it is a nurse's responsibility to aid people when they see them in need but I feel she went above the call of duty by coming to the Emergency room while she was off duty to offer her condolences. To me that speaks volumes about her, not only as a nurse but as a human being.
