The day after moving to hospice, Tommy came to look after my mom. We had so many questions and Tommy considered all and gave us information in a thoughtful manner. Tommy guided us through what the end of mom's life would look like and the various phases she would go through. This was reassuring to us and very helpful. Before he left, he offered to sing mom a song. Mom's husband (now deceased) was very musical so we were all on board with the song. Tommy has the most beautiful voice, and I could tell my mom relaxed and even moved her foot as if tapping her foot along with his singing. Twenty minutes after Tommy left my mom just stopped breathing, with minimal struggle, and passed. My family and I believe that Tommy gave her the comfort and decreased her fear to allow her to pass. I called Tommy and asked him to sing at mom's funeral service, he came and sang, the entire family got to experience what mom did as she passed.
