This is my first-time in-patient for Cystic Fibrosis here at OHSU. I've had the honor of having Andrea as my nurse several days now and she's made a difficult time become a little easier with her outstanding care. She is compassionate and really makes me feel like she is here for whatever my needs are. No matter how many times her phone rings, or how busy it is beyond my door she takes her time with me, making sure I understand what all of the medications are for, making sure I'm not in pain and addressing if so, she also makes sure I have anything I've requested immediately. If she isn't able to come in when I've requested I'm still immediately provided with help from someone she's asked to come in for her. Most importantly for me, is she stops and listens! She doesn't act rushed or inconvenienced if I'm relaying information to her. She is always in a good mood while with me and goes above and beyond what she really needs to. So thank you, Andrea, for making yet another hospital stay for me not so bad!
