Beth Owens is an exceptional nurse, charge nurse, supervisor, coworker, and friend. She is always there to help, answer questions and is always available for you. I simply could not have survived my first year at Shepherd without her. She has been there to help me transport my patients, to prepare needed paperwork for surgeries and procedures, to unclog feeding tubes, to troubleshoot situations, to answer my one million questions, and to be my second opinion and second brain. I will never forget that there was one time when I had to transfer a patient to Piedmont and I had not passed any meds and had a great deal going on with my other patients on the floor-I was so stressed. I returned from Piedmont Hospital to find my meds passed and almost everything that I needed to get done completed. That in and of itself turned my day around and it really made my day. Beth is kind, loving, compassionate, and one amazing nurse and I am beyond blessed to call her my supervisor, mentor, and friend. I love Beth and the Shepherd Center is blessed to have her! She takes amazing care of our patients as well as our staff and we just couldn't thrive the way we do as a unit without her. Thank you.
