My husband suffered a major heart attack requiring emergent bypass surgery. The ambulance transported him from my home as I followed in my own car. When I arrived at the hospital, I could not find anyone who knew where my husband was or his condition. I legitimately thought that he had died and they were not telling me. Amanda came down to the ER and rescued me, assuring me that he was alive and in the cath lab. The night continued to be awful as he coded in the cath lab and had to be rushed to surgery. Amanda was such a comfort to me, even contacting my family so they could come to be with me. Throughout the process, she continued to check on me and answer any concerns that I had. God bless Amanda! She was an absolute angel with the compassion she showed and the way she went above and beyond to help me and my family.
