Chelsea has been a nurse on 9 West for over 10 years and I have seen her give great compassionate care to all of her patients.

Chelsea was taking care of a younger oncology patient receiving chemo and struggling with the disease process. She provided holistic, compassionate care, listening to the patient's needs, concerns and fears while providing comfort to the patient and family. Chelsea was able to relate on a personal level with the patient because she recently went through the nightmare of a cancer diagnosis within her family.

Chelsea offered this patient and family the emotional support, care and prayers they needed and doesn't realize how much she is comforting the patient and family. I am beyond proud to work with her.
