I would like to thank my nurse, Jenn Lynch, from the 6th Floor Aqua Team Stem Cell unit.
Jenn has such a personable approach to her patients. She always takes time to explain procedures. I'm a stem cell transplant patient. At one clinical visit, Jenn took the time to draw a diagram that allowed me and my family to have a better understanding of what my days would look like during the conditioning chemo all the way through to the stem cell itself and the days beyond to day 30. As I was going through all of the treatment, I was able to look at the diagram and anticipate the tough days and the timeline that showed when I would begin to feel better. This info gave me hope as I worked my way through the hard days. The visual was helpful emotionally as well as physically.
