When my wife arrived at Grandview in March, we had no idea what we were in for. Fast forward 130+ days we realize we couldn't have come to a better place. One nurse in specific truly stood out during this time. She has indeed been a comfort in a time of need. She has gone above and beyond her job duties on a regular basis. Medical terminology, for example, can be a lot to process. She simplified and explained things in a manner that has helped ease and comfort us during our difficult time. Never have questions been too many or too frequent. Even when she was not our nurse, she was always courteous and helpful when she sees us. Always being proactive she strives to address any concerns we have. She has even comforted us with prayer and love that only a nurse who has a true calling and not just a job. We are forever thankful for her and know we crossed paths with her through divine appointment and not just by chance. We know that we could never be able to repay her. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
