Kristin exemplifies all facets of the highest caliber bedside nurse. She loves practicing the art of nursing care, and this shows like a bright, steady beam of light. She is passionate and her work as a nurse is a calling. In fact, she shared that after caring for a beloved parent, she chose the profession of nursing and is very clear that this alone is the work she wants.
Kristin is proficient, knowledgeable and efficient in carrying out her nursing responsibilities and she takes initiative to "go the extra mile" in all her nursing responsibilities. Her follow-through regarding all details is exceptional, as is her loving bedside manner. I have complete confidence in Kristin as my 100-year-old mother's nurse and in the fact that my mother is in superb hands with Kristin. This reality lifts such a load from my shoulders as the family advocate and caregiver for my mother at a stressful time.
Kristin, in fact, made an enormous difference in relieving my stress as a family member. At several key junctures during my mother's hospitalization, she managed to find time to listen to and respond to my reflections as I wrestled with deep issues concerning the next steps for my mother.
