I came to Iowa Lutheran Hospital as an alcohol detox patient. I was sick and very nervous. Stacy Rice was my overnight nurse and she was amazing. Not only did she do a super job, but she also went above and beyond when she was busy. She always had a smile and treated me like a person and a friend. Most importantly, she listened and made me feel comfortable and cared for. Every time I needed help, she wouldn't hesitate to take the time to assist me.
I did not have a single visitor, but Stacy talked to me every chance she had to lift my spirits. From the bottom of my heart, I will never forget her kindness. Not only is she a DAISY Nurse, but she has also earned my deepest respect.
