Kara is an inspiration to her generation. Kara is amazing! I have two dislocated shoulders and have tremendous difficulty eating, drinking or doing anything on my own. Kara assisted me in everything I needed during the day. She heard me drop my spoon, and before I could call her, she was in the room with a new one. She spread my butter for me, opened my drinks and understood every one of my challenges. She was professional and anticipated my needs. I never had to call her, she showed up on time. She has compassion, is smart and willing to go/do any measure to help me. She made me feel I'm in the best hospital in the city. She even helped me soak my fingers so my ex-wife could cut my fingernails. She made me feel good and made sure I was comfortable.

During my wife's mother's stay, Kara has always given us the time to explain all things about her care, ailment, procedures and mom's mental and physical situation. She has always listened to our questions and responded to all. We feel very comfortable leaving Mom in her care. She always seems to go the extra mile for our mom, and we are sure she does so for all her other patients. Our mom has been difficult as a patient at times, but Kara has always shown great patience, understanding, and professionalism. She even called us this morning about Mom's update. Kara is an outstanding nurse role model and reflects the best here at Memorial.
