Having a child with health issues and medical complications is heartbreaking and scary to say the least. Luckily for parents like me, God has placed true angels on earth in the form of phenomenal nurses like Jennifer VanderKlok! From our first day here at Bronson Children's Hospital Jennifer has listened to, cared for, and advocated for my son and me. She always goes above and beyond to help comfort him and keep his spirits up. I could not imagine how difficult and scary this hospital stay would be for him (and myself) without her. The amount of heart she puts into her patients and their families was noticed by not only me, but everyone who came to visit us. As a student nurse I can only hope to be ½ the amazing nurse Jennifer is. We are FOREVER grateful for her kindness and compassion in such a difficult and stressful time. Jen is the best nurse EVER.
