While I was a very sick patient taken by ambulance to the ER, Brooke was the nurse who came to my side smiling, greeted me, and told me her name. She was very sincere when I asked her questions or if I was getting upset, she had kind words to help calm me down. Such a young girl with a kind heart and a terrific outlook towards her patients. She also never forgot to remove the bedpan or place it quickly and correctly. You don't think these things make a difference to a person, but it does, she also has a kind hand when cleaning someone up. She got the job done nice and softly.
She is a true DAISY Nurse for her honesty. When I asked her if she talked to the doctor about pain medicine, she said "no, I'm so sorry I did forget to do that, but I'll go right now and do it," which she did and returned with it promptly. Anyone else would have lied to me about it. Brooke deserves to be recognized for all the services she provides to her patients.
