I don't even know where to begin with Rhianna. After being transferred from the ER Rhianna was by my side. Although I was pretty out of it for the duration of some of the hardest decisions, Rhianna was a rock for my family, friends, and most of all, my mother. She is literally a Godsend and I don't think we could have made it through this without her. Rhianna is the best nurse I have ever had and truly believe I will ever have. Her compassion, empathy, passion, and support cannot be matched. She would visit me every day, hold my hand, explain to me what was going on and helped me to stay positive. She was my angel through all of this and my biggest supporter. Rhianna would stay hours after her shift was over to come to visit my family and me to check-in and make sure we were taking care of, I don't know how I can ever repay her for everything she did for us, but have gained a lifelong friend through this. She is simply amazing and irreplaceable.

It's not every day one finds exceptional healthcare. It's not every day one finds friendship. Recently, my family found both. My daughter A's journey began there at St. Elizabeth that day. My journey being 6.5 hours away from Ft. Thomas that day when I got the phone call A was barely holding on. I prayed the entire way, not knowing what to expect upon my arrival. A survived, she spent a full week in the ICU, initially. Much of this time Rhianna was by her side. She ended up spending a full two weeks at St. Elizabeth with 3 more days in ICU. I cannot begin to tell all Rhianna did for A and our family during this time. The most excellent nursing care and emotional support I have ever witnessed or experienced. While A was on dialysis she planned and executed a move for a CT scan. It was amazing. She held our hands, we shared hugs, laughter, and tears. She was our cheerleader and advocate when most needed. Even staying well beyond her scheduled shift and visiting after her shift ended when A was moved to the floor. She is forever in our hearts.

My wife and I received a call that our daughter A was being sent over to the St. Elizabeth in Ft. Thomas. We left and drove for 7 hours. When arriving A was in critical condition and was septic. The next day, Rhianna was our nurse. During those three days, she monitored and took care of our A from reading monitors, giving her medicine, and keeping the doctors informed of her status and being our emotional support. At one time A had to go down for a CT scan with contrast so during this time she worked out how fast she could get A off dialysis and down to imaging and back upstairs on dialysis. I really believe it took 12 minutes. I really believe God was watching over our A when he brought Rhianna into our lives. We will never forget her. PS. I believe in the three days she was our nurse; she was out of the room for 2 hours.
