Carol provides exceptional care! Her care, integrity, commitment, advocacy, and respect exceeded my expectations. I had a nighttime accident due to medication while on 5C and I was assigned a male nurse. A male nurse could have done the job; however, it would have done more damage to my already fragile state.
Carol came in and calmed me and assured me that everything was okay. She helped me change all of my bed linens and helped get me in the shower. Her gentle and kind demeanor eased my embarrassment and her reassurance was greatly appreciated!
This was not my only interaction with Carol. I suffer from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and MST (Military Sexual Trauma) and her presence alone made me feel safe and secure. She has also been my sounding board, my "go-to" for questions and all-around confidant.
Carol's commitment to the Veterans of 5C is greatly noticed. The amount of dignity and respect that she gives is beyond extraordinary! The night A-Team is extremely lucky to have her as a member of their team. She is an absolute asset to the success of mine and other Veterans' care.
