I have seen nothing short of loving, compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable and hard-working efforts from Angela. Regardless of the challenges this department has faced over the last several months, I have never once seen her stray from excellent patient care or teamwork. She embraces every challenge placed before her and pushes forward. She consistently provides excellent patient care to every patient, at every encounter. This is evidenced by patient surveys/callbacks as well as peer feedback. She is actively involved in the unit based council and pain team for our unit and is identified as a child life champion. This means she is recognized for advocating for her pediatric patients during painful procedures or procedures that cause them anxiety. She is a charge nurse on the night shift but is more than just a leader on our unit. She is a role model, known to all as a person that will go above and beyond to assist any patient or co-worker in any situation. She is always positive and always a team player.
