Amber made me feel special from the first day on her floor; upon our first meeting, I knew I was in very capable hands. She demonstrated all of the "I CARE" principles. I trusted her command of her position immediately; she was present where and when I needed assistance. It was very obvious to me that her commitment to the VA's mission statement was part of her nursing style. Her focus on being my nurse was evident.
She respected me and my wife, who accompanied me, from the moment we met her. Amber showed genuine interest in both my wife and I. Excellence and professionalism show through. She was also my nurse on day two of my hospitalization and I was happy to see she carried the same principles that I observed on day one. Great person, nurse, and employee.
