Some people are destined to do certain things in life and I believe Allison is one of them. She was made to be a nurse. Her compassion is unlike anyone I've ever seen. She has been my husband's nurse for eight days in a row! I can't even imagine how tired she is, but she never lets it show. Each time she walks in our door, she has a bright smile and always says something to make you feel good. She remembers everything you ask for and she knows her patients and their preferences. Allison shares little stories about her while she's in the room and listens as we talk to her. Then, days later she remembers our conversations.
These may seem like small details, but since my husband basically lives here temporarily, it's a very big deal. Even though this journey has introduced us to a lot of amazing nurses, I have to say Allison is my favorite. It's a pleasure to have her taking care of my husband and just a pleasure to have her in the building.
