We had the honor of meeting Brenda when we were sent to triage in week 33 of our pregnancy. Our daughter was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, and we have been fearful throughout our high-risk pregnancy. Brenda was such a support to us from the moment we arrived at the ER. Her concern, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond to answer our questions and keep us comfortable meant the world to us. She even offered to keep in touch with us after were discharged in the event we had questions or just needed to talk. She became a huge support to us over the next several weeks.
On our delivery day, Brenda stopped by to visit and to bring us the most beautiful mother/daughter bracelets for me and my little girl. Brenda also made sure we had the best delivery nurse on our team.
We were truly blessed to have Lisa by our side during such a difficult and emotional day. Lisa worked tirelessly to make our labor experience beautiful. She anticipated every need and made us feel so comfortable and cared for every step of the way. She even made our daughter a sweet little pink beanie that we will forever treasure. Although our little girl was born without a heartbeat, the team made sure she had a perfect birthday into Heaven. We got to hold her and spend time with her, which was so special for our family.
We're beyond grateful for the care and kindness of these two nurses.
