After discovering I needed surgery for my gallbladder, and I work in the OR, I was nervous about my peers seeing me in all my glory. Brandy calmed my fears by creating an environment in the OR to allow for privacy from other nurses, scrubs, and techs. She also held my hand as I went off to sleep and covered me with warm blankets. After the surgery, she sat with me in PACU until I was more awake and told me how the surgery went. Working with her I knew she was a good nurse, but after having been her patient I can honestly say she is a great nurse and an asset to the Baylor Scott and White family. Thank you, Brandy, you made my surgery a pleasant experience.
