Amy! Amy! Amy! What would I have done without you? I love that you have patience. I love how committed you are to your job. I love how you treated me not as a patient but as if I was your child. Thank you for coming into my room and talking to me because I was crying. I tried telling you nothing was wrong, but you just wouldn't leave until I talked to you. You told me I am a sister first, then a mother, and a nurse. Not sure if it was that order but you made me feel good and you gave me hope. After I told you why I was crying you sat me down and told me all the reasons I should be smiling. I can't thank you enough for sitting with me and allowing me to open up to you with a listening ear and an open heart. Thank you for not judging me but helping me. Anything you told me, it never failed me. Thank you, Amy. Keep on saving lives because I sure was falling into depression before you stopped and picked my head up.
