I was recently a patient at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. I cannot say enough about all of the nurses, techs, etc. that were at my service from my arrival to departure. I have never had an experience in the hospital like that was, and I am so grateful to every one of them. Jessica stands out because she went beyond the call of duty. She always walked in with a smile and a good attitude, but one day I will never forget that truly showed that Jessica had a calling on her life to take care of those who needed her, no matter the circumstances. I had misplaced my phone, and after several attempts to find it by my husband, with his own phone in the room, he thought it might have gotten picked up with the sheets that had been changed. Jessica offered to help find it. She went with my husband to the laundry area, and together they put his phone over the bin, and eventually found it after several attempts. She truly went beyond the call of duty that day for me, and I will never forget it. She was willing to do something that few would find comfortable doing, and that day she was my Good Samaritan.
Thank you, Jessica, for making me feel worthy of your service to me. May God continue to bless you as you bless others. You are truly a very special person. She filled the need for me each time she walked in the room, with that sweet smile and helpful ways. She went way beyond the call of duty in treating me every day.
