Lydia is the clinical nurse for the Hemophilia 340B program. A new medication has been released for use in this patient population. This medication is given at home by families and will be used along with their regular infusions at times.
Lydia has taught 21 patients and families about this new treatment including information about the medication and how to administer the injections. Lydia has had to learn about the treatment in order to be an expert for her patients.
She is a great advocate for the bleeding disorder population including hemophilia and exhibits the Glennon Factor within the community.
