Dana always uses words of encouragement towards staff and helps wherever needed whether it be with patients or filling in when someone needs an extra hand or short-staffed. She takes time to listen and goes out of her way to fix a problem.
Staff feel comfortable going to her with issues that are work-related or personal. She has great means of communication and builds relationships with everyone in the department.
Dana always has an upbeat spirit and attitude. She is always positive and gives compliments and pats on the back. When negativity is being expressed, she has the wonderful ability to let us know we need to take corrective action without sounding like she is griping at us. She shows she is concerned for the wellbeing of us and our patients. She comes in every day with a huge smile.
Dana has grown into a great leader.
