I want to recognize Nurse Brittany. She was so sweet, always here to explain what she was going or about to do to me. When she gave me my meds, she always told me what she was giving me. I explained some things to her and she was right on it to try to get it answered for me. Today she heard my cough was worse and truly acted like she cares and was going to see about getting some meds for it. This is the type of nurse we like, the ones who enjoy their jobs and love their patients. Brittany knows that I don't like being here but the way she is, has made my stay enjoyable. Hopefully, you can get more nurses like Brittany - She knows her job. Kudos! Kudos! Kudos! for Brittany. Thank you for being so compassionate to me and my husband during my visit here.

A patient's son was lingering around and they had already taken his mother to ICU. He was waiting to see Brittany. As soon as Brittany came by, he started thanking her for being so wonderful to her and the family, then he broke down and was hugging Brittany, which brought tears to my eyes. She was very consoling and told him she would stop by ICU to check on her and the family and then he left for ICU. Brittany told me she was wondering if there was anything else she could do for the patient and her family and I told her that apparently, her family thought very highly of everything she has done for them. I can tell Brittany was very sad and touched by them. She said she was her nurse for 3 days. As Brittany was talking to me about something else, another family member came back from ICU and approached Brittany and started crying on Brittany and thanking her for everything she has done for them. She told Brittany she will never forget her and how she treated them. Brittany also told her she will be stopping by ICU to check on all of them. She was very appreciative that they had Brittany as their nurse. Seeing the way the patient's family were crying on Brittany brought tears to my eyes. She is an exceptional and caring nurse.
