When I woke up in the burn ICU with my head buzzed and 40% of my upper extremities burned, I felt like a fat little boy. Claire brought in pink nail polish and painted my fingers and toes. Besides going above and beyond what her job entails, she does her job with excellence and compassion. She was easily my favorite nurse because she demonstrated this every time she changed my bandages. It was a very painful experience, and where other nurses tried to get the job done fast explaining it would be over sooner, that was always more painful. Claire took her time; she went as slow as I needed her to every single time. She was gentle with me every step of the way. Clair is a true DAISY Nurse. Love you girl!
