Reece was my admitting nurse. I came in and was in horrible back pain, throwing up from a kidney stone. Reece was very polite and respectful the whole time. He helped me get settled in and was checking on me all day. I was in pain, scared, and sick. Reece would make small-talk to take the mind off my situation - Bless his heart.
I needed an IV and to say the least, I was a very hard stick. Reece tried several times (very dehydrated) not once showing any sign of being frustrated Reece went to get assistance to help, well they had a hard time too. (So sorry to all) But I think House Supervisor got one. Thank you!
When my family members came to visit me later. My granddaughter 8 years old was very scared for me. Reece joked with her and talked a bit with my family. They (my family) left that night saying I was in good hands. Reece, thanks for comforting my family, when I couldn't!
Again, the next day Reece was my nurse as well; same nice Reece caring, again needed to replace the IV site, a mess again, House Supervisor to the rescue again. My granddaughter no knowing the difference between Dr./Nurse - says, "Dr. Reece is my favorite." I did have all that served to my care be very nice, caring and professional, but Reece sure did help in many ways with my 3-day 2-night stay. I would like to say Thank you to all because I know it takes a lot to make a good team care for people in all different needs and their families. I appreciate each one.
