My son really appreciated the care that was given to us. The nurses that were so polite, sweet, caring and just amazing at what they do. We just love them. Our nurse, Amy, was so wonderful and patient. Our son was up from dawn and throughout the day and night and she knew exactly what to do. Although that's the job, she made us feel like we were a part of her own family. She would make sure we were okay and didn't need anything. We stayed at the Children's Hospital for six days and she made sure we were comfortable and made sure every question or concern was accommodated. I didn't even have to ask her when I needed help because she already knew! At one point I began to feel sick and she gave me great advice on making sure everything was clean. She even came in and deep cleaned everything that was touchable. She brought crackers and soda to help with my stomach pains. I could tell she was a mom because of the way she cared for me and my son. I've been hospitalized so many times in my life and I don't recall not one nurse every being as caring as Amy was. I want her to know I am very, very grateful for the way she treated us. Amy was spectacular and if we ever come back, I will be requesting her!
