My mom was recently a patient at St. Vincent's on 4 South Step Down. While all of the care we received was fantastic, I really want to tell you about this one nurse. Shante is a gifted individual that not only possesses caring hands, but she also gives every day from her caring heart!
Every time she interacted with my mom she spoke so sweetly and calmly. Even though my mom was unresponsive, she talked to her and explained everything she was doing.
I felt that all the care given by Shante was given with love. She paid attention to detail, informed us of everything and really cared! I have been in the hospital and with other family members and I've never encountered any nurse possessing this caring "aura".
