My husband was in the ICU for seven days. Every nurse that took care of him was very nice and very professional, but one nurse we felt went the extreme mile. Cassie knew there were 2 things going on at one time in my family and she made me and my husband very comfortable, always asking if we were ok and if we needed anything. She made us feel like we were not just in a hospital, but a friendly environment and we both appreciated her very much. It is nurses like Cassie that make a patients' day so much brighter. My husband kept her laughing as she kept him laughing and smiley. She also sang to him, especially when he had to have a test ran or another IV, to make him feel more comfortable. Thank you, Cassie, you were awesome.
