A baby coded on pediatrics, and JoyLynn realized that she had taken care of the patient's mother during her delivery, months earlier. She comforted the mother and held her while she cried. Joy went above and beyond to take care of these parents who weren't even her patients.
The baby did not have a good outcome and Joy obtained them a memory box for the infant's memorial, and JoyLynn continued to comfort the parents.
