Since my father has been a patient at Penn Highlands Elk, Michelle has gone out of her way to make him as comfortable as possible each time she has been assigned to him. Over the course of a few days, she diligently worked at using hair/beard removal lotion to remove the beard from my dad's face. (He had a tracheotomy with an open wound, so facial hair removal was difficult.) Then on a different day, she took the time to clean up his fingernails. Michelle has taken a personal interest in making my father feel comfortable and attended to. It is a great comfort to see her name as his nurse for the day. Thank you, Michelle!
