There was a maternal Code Blue at Memorial North. Cindy was the charge in the ICU that day. When the page went out for it, Cindy quickly gave reports on her patients and came to be a part of the code.
Upon her arrival, Cindy took a quick look around and realized the team needed a strong leader to help save this patient. Cindy immediately stepped up to this role and became the team leader for the code. Her strong communication skills and expertise helped to focus and guide the team who were grateful for her experience and leadership.
Cindy's knowledge and willingness to step up were instrumental in the saving of this patient's life. Her ability to direct and make critical decisions ensured the team was working cohesively and with the best interest of the patient. Two doctors came to me later and said, "Cindy Ramberg saved this patient's life!"
Thank you, Cindy; your commitment to doing the right thing and willingness to step up saved this patient's life and made a difference for her, her baby, her family, her friends, and our UCHealth team! We are all so grateful!
