At 8 months pregnant Valerie went above and beyond with patient care. She explained everything she did and helped us to understand anything everything. At one point in our hospital stay my husband went into vtach and he passed out and the defib went off. She was not even our nurse and a code was called. Val, 8 months pregnant, flew into action with so many doctors in the room but she moved very quickly to get the side of my husband and help to revive and take care of him. Every hospital should be so fortunate to have such a warm loving and dedicated nurse like her. She was laser-focused on what needed to be done and stopped at nothing to take care of my husband. God bless her, thank you for hiring her. She even came to the ICU that night to check on him. In the process of helping us, she thought nothing of herself and her unborn child she jumped into action to save my husband.
