I wanted to take a moment to send a note of sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received during an incredibly difficult time in my life this past spring. My in-home nurse, Jatina Ritchie, not only took care of my health needs, but she also gave me the support and encouragement I needed to deal with the completely unexpected nephrectomy I was having.
Prior to surgery, I had a nephrostomy tube and I was very self-conscious about it. My daughter's graduation was at the beginning of June and we didn't know if the surgery would be before or after and I was very anxious that I might have the tube still and everyone would see it. Jatina had me try my dress on and she came up with a way to hide the tube using a shorter one, ordered it for me, and when it came in she adjusted it for me. She will never know how much that meant to me. She was a blessing to me.
