I had been here for two days and was exhausted. The time I take my medicine was changed from what I was used to. I came late for the medicine and the nurse, David, did his due diligence explaining the importance of taking the medicine on time. It frustrated me as I was mad at myself for missing the medication. It is a very expensive pill that I'm blessed to have.
Anyway, I cut off David and his recommendation of being timely because I was mad at myself. I explained I was used to taking the medicine at night. So later that day, he came all the way to my room to tell me he changed my pill line time to evening. He didn't have to do that. Especially since I had a bad attitude and didn't deserve it. David took the time to not take it personally and make my life easier. He gets how to treat patients.
