Brianne is the most positive, caring, and thoughtful nurse I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She took care of my dad and he was very sick. My dad is a jokester and likes to give people a hard time. Bri always gave it right back to my father in a positive way. She kept my dad smiling even at his worst times. Brianne's co-workers all say they love to work with her because she has such a bright and positive attitude. I saw first-hand just how great a nurse Brianne was when I was at the hospital visiting my dad. My dad's oxygen started to drop and Bri was always right on top of it, she got him to put on oxygen, she notified the Respiratory Therapist for a breathing treatment and she sat him up to help him breathe. She never left his side until he felt better despite her phone constantly ringing. My dad, still to this day, says that he owes his life to Bri. Not only because she's was such an Extraordinary Nurse, but because, my dad says that he was ready to give up when he was admitted but Bri gave him something to look forward to every day, knowing that he can joke with her and talk to her without judgment. My dad says that because of the way Bri treated him during his hospital stay that he will now only ever go to Deaconess Gateway for his care. Thank you to all the wonderful nurses, techs, and hospital personnel. You all provided great care.
