My father had acute pancreatitis with other medical issues. He was in the ICU, then on the floor before going home. Mardeanna took care of him the night he returned to the hospital with severe pain. His surgery was scheduled for the next day. She took such great care of him, making sure he had his pain medication on time to kept him comfortable. She assured me she would be with him and care for him all night. I felt her compassion and knew she would. She showed confidence in her skills all evening, I was able to leave and sleep knowing he was in great hands overnight. On arriving the next morning (of surgery) he told me "it was the best he has slept in weeks". She indeed kept him comfortable and safe all night. Her caring and compassion for patients matches her clinical skills. She helped my dad and my family through a very scary night. I truly felt she was an angel watching out for him.
